The first 2011 edition of our feature Loch Lomond & Clyde Visitor is now in circulation. The guide captures the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining and outdoor activities available in and around the greater Loch Lomond & Clyde Sea Lochs area. The guide features the gateway areas of Lomond Shores and Balloch Town Centre as well as providing a snapshot view of the key destinations further afield such as Luss, Adlui, Balmaha, Drymen, Helensburgh and the gareloch area, all of which are key components of this destination. The guide offers a comprehensive level of information in a easy format, and seeks to motivate visitors to visit and remain in the area. Key to this is our extensive distribution that takes advantage of Downtown CityMap's already established distribution network. By positioning the guide in a wide range of distribution points outside the immediate area a greater level of visability is created enabling city visitors to see how easy it is to visit the area. The guide is produced twice a year and the next edition will be published in July. This removes the out-of-date notion of a "tourist season" and plugs in to the "year round season" covering the ever changing variety of visitor coming to Scotland and especially Glasgow throughout the year. Encouraging city break visitors to visit Loch Lomond & the Clyde area can create a huge, year round opportunity for all involved in business in this area. Flick through our first Spring 2011 edition below and get a feel for the quality and content of this publication. The guide is intended to be a handy snapshot of the best ideas when visiting the area. Our distribution, especially outside the area is intened to motivate visitors already in Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh or elsewhere to take the time to visit the Loch Lomond & Clyde area by showing them how easy it is to get here and what they can expect when they arrive. Our local distribution will enable local visitor providers to give guests an all-in-one guide which will enable them to learn about the area without the need to collect a load of individual printed material.
